No Super bloom this year! But it’s still nice place hike around Diamond Valley Lake. There are a few patches of wild flower along the trail. I had taken some pictures and shared them here along with this review.
Getting there was a long drive from LA. But once you get there, you will be relax with the beautiful surrounding of nature.
Before heading to the trail, you need to pay for entrance fees and parking at the DVM store. There is also toilet facility next to the store.
The hike is uphill and there is a close loop hike that’s specifically designed for wild flower viewing. Once you hike about 5 minutes into the trail, you will see a sign of “ Wild Flower Trail”. It’s a one way hiking trail.

Read moreThis place has a nice trail around a good size lake that you can explore year round. There is a nice wildflower bloom on the end of the lake closest to the boat launch and parking. It was enjoyable if quite busy. If you're willing to walk further in (i recommend it!) then you'll get away from the weekend crowds and be rewarded with a little quiet while taking in the views. The combination of the lake and wildflower bloom make this one pretty special. We visit several blooms in southern California every year, and I think this location is special...
