We're from NY/NJ and were visiting IN family last week- they insisted we MUST drive out to Pilgrimage for a tasting. Now, living on the east coast, we've been to dozens of wineries and didn't expect much from this little place in "the middle of nowhere" (ok, but that's how it seemed to us!). WOW were we surprised!!! Not only did we LOVE the different wines but it's a lovely place. We were well taken care of, educated about the winery and the grapes, plus our young cousin was entertained by a darling golden retriever puppy 😍 WORTH THE TRIP!

I’m kicking myself for not visiting sooner! This charming little winery specializes in cold-hardy European grapes grown right on site. The wines are excellent—mostly on the dry, acidic side (my favorite). My personal recommendation: the Traminette. If you’re traveling along I-70 or nearby, stop in for a bit—you won’t be disappointed. They often host food trucks and keep a small case of snacks on hand. Check their social pages for live music listings.

Me and my wife's new favorite spot! Scott and Emma are super friendly and always have cool stories to tell. Couldn't recommend Pilgrimage enough!

Pilgrimage Winery is a gem! Owners Scott and Emma have made their winery an amazing destination for adults and families. If you don't like the typical Indiana winery sweet wines and love dry wine like from France or California- this is your winery! The wines are thoughtfully made and the winery is beautiful. We were fortunate to have a group tasting with Emma and Scott both presenting us the wines. We food truck and music that day made stay even longer to relax and take in this beautiful winery....
