We were very excited to try this winery on a weekend trip, because we'd driven by before and it looked gorgeous. When we got inside, the atmosphere was quaint and aesthetically pleasing. The tasting, however, was a bit of a bust. We were given 2 free tastings of their extensive selection, barring several that were marked as $4 each, and we had the option of adding 2 more non-marked wine tastings for $5. There was also the option to purchase a flight tasting of their 5 or 6 ice wines, which we were excited about. The three wines we tried were good, but not of the quality that we could really justify spending $20 on a tasting flight, so we decided against the ice wine sampler. I wish I'd had the opportunity to try more of their wines without having to spend so much to see what I like, as I was expecting to purchase bottles of some that I'd enjoyed, and am an ice wine lover from an area where they aren't very common. I understand the need to charge for a tasting, as giving tastings can be pricy to the winery. However, I've never had so few tasting options available without spending $20+ dollars just to find out what I'd like to purchase. Over all, it was a pleasant place with friendly staff, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants to be certain they like a wine before investing...

We stopped on a Sunday at 5:30pm to dine (closing time is 6:00pm) we were informed upon entering that they weren’t taking any more β€œhot orders” but we were welcome to a dessert. A family of 8 was there and just deciding what to order. Unsure what this establishment’s guidelines or definition of closing is. (Is if you close at 5:30, please indicate this). We strongly suggest calling before making any type of drive (unless you’d like dessert offered in a hurried fashion). When the gentleman who greeted (?) witnessed us overhearing the family of 8 perusing the menu, it was a sheepish moment. No matter how quaint and possibly good their food may have been, this is not indicative of their value of their consumer. In closing, I’m certain that they would have been willing to make a sale with ease in their pricey gift shop filled with items that can be easily obtained at any Cracker Barrel across the Nation. Call ahead or perhaps just...

If I could give this place negative stars I would. McClure’s has been mine and my family’s go to for apple cider. We literally drive 1 hour and 45 minutes ONE WAY for the cider only, but NEVER AGAIN. Me and my parents run up there a couple weeks ago and my dad and I were treated like we were criminals. A short lady that was working in the winery part rudely raced over to us while we were waiting to use the restroom and just stood and stared at us. I told her we were just using the bathroom and looking around, but she still refused to leave us alone…. At least until she noticed my mom then she was free to walk away. It seemed like once she seen someone of her color she was able to ease herself and walk away. REALLY?!?!?!?! That was the most uncomfortable embarrassing thing I have been through. Not one time did she harass anybody else in the store or race up to anybody else the way she did my dad and I....

Absolutely LOVED going, as always! They have many activites available to choose from. 🍎 apple and πŸŽƒ pumkpin picking , corn maze , visit with animals πŸ– 🐎 play on playground, check out the apple barn (gift shop) and they also recently added a bake shop πŸ₯§ which there is a small menu to pick from to grab a bite to eat. The apple barn (gift shop) has unique seasonal items along with apples 🍎 and honey 🍯 candy 🍬 and toys for the kids. Apple cider (one size $5) is a must every visit ! Can't wait to try the apple pie we purchased today. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend checking the place out , bringing your family. There's something for everyone to enjoy.

I love this time of year and I really enjoy spending a couple of hours here at the apple orchard. The animals are so cute and well taken care of and I had to take a video of the 2 geese that were ready for lunch, feeding time lol it was so funny and the cow and bull were moooing at the same time πŸ˜‚. I ended up buying an apple slushy which was very good, a gallon of apple cider, one whole apple pie, honeycomb samples and honey suckers. Every thing was really good and the pie was too die for...yum. We had to get some really pretty and unique pumpkins as well. Support your local business. Have a wonderful day.

Fantastic orchard. You can pick your own apples, pick your own pumpkins, it was great. The pumpkin picking was just cool, they give you a cart and pair of clips to just go wander the pumpkin field to get what you want. Then you roll that back to be weighed and pay for them right outside the field. Love it. So many varieties of pumpkins to pick too. I've never seen anyone do that. Also some super cute animals to check out. Cider slushies were lit. Really a perfect true orchard experience.
