The building is closed to the public except on Saturdays from noon to 4 pm, according to a sign on the door. Not much to see if you come at any other time. We were there on a Monday and were only able to see the outside of the building. The Cypress Tree Tunnel leading up to the place is pretty, and attracts folks getting that perfect Instagram shot.

One of the last remaining commercial marine radio stations. They open the museum every Saturday to the public, where you can see Morse code operators send and receive messages to ships at sea. Worth the drive.

Worth visiting if you are in the area. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings and it's purpose. They also give guided tours for free. Lastly, they are very nice.

Everyone presumes that the present is the only reality. This place takes you to a time when there was no satellite communication, no internet. It is revealing about how we got here. The drive is beautiful, the staff very accommodating. A chance to learn.

Oh, and everyone here wears a bow tie. It’s optional for visitors (females), so come appropriately dressed. There is a haberdashery in Bolinas with quite a selection. Ask...

This is the only one left in the US and the very few around the world. Volunteers here has keep the place going and are friendly. There is a restroom here you can use just in case. The entrance is on the right side. Buy some souvenirs if you can to help support the cause. There is free parking if you want to take pictures of the Cypress trees but please don't park at...
