High clearance vehicle and 4x4 are advised. The road up to the lake is not easy. If you want to fish this stunning lake it would be advisable to bring a kayak or other floatable vessel as there are lilypads surrounding the lake. The lake is full of good sized and strong fighting cutthroat. This lake is worth the drive to get there just for the scenery but the great fishing make it a hidden...

Beautiful mountain lake. A bit of a rough drive; wouldn't want to drive it in the winter. The lake has beautiful lilly pads unlike any other lake I've been too in Montana. Very cool...
