Took the DC trail to Young Man, and it was rather challenging to say the least. I was surrounded by coyotes the first mile and on my way back, I almost ran into a Diamondback who was curled back to snap on me. I eeek'd out of the way. It was an adventurous hike, but I'll be staying off of this trail for the time being. Side note, the descent after you reach the tops can be challenging in the joints and knees. Loose rock can be just as treacherous as a rattlesnake.

When you just want to get out for a walk, either on a flat trail or on more of an incline, you can find it at this park. There’s plenty of parking and many different trails.

Great trail for walking, trail running, hiking, mountain biking, dog friendly. Some nice accents and descents for a cardio workout.
