I wish I could choose ZERO stars! Let me start from the beginning. I met with Legends event center the beginning of the year with hopes to celebrate my sons sweet 16 on September 11 2022 I paid off all of the required monthly fees. On the last day of payment I was told everything was paid even with a credit on my account and the credit would be returned after the event. Along with my deposit as long as nothing was broken ext. A month and a half to two months before the scheduled event (end of July) I got sick with Covid. My husband reached out to the center and received a woman that could not speak English and stated someone would call us back, but no one did. Of course with Covid it ran it’s course throughout my house and my husband and my three boys got Covid as well (August- September)With hopes I reached out again and sent an email stating what is happening and how our event must be canceled at this time. (9/8/22)I received an email stating they wish us a speedy recovery and they are requesting who it was my husband spoke with. My husband is sick with COVID how would he remember? They also stated a full reimbursement may not happen due to how soon the event is. I emailed them back stating what happened and how my husband already reached out, and did not receive a response. As of October my family was in full health so I thought I would try emailing again. Nothing. I once again left numerous messages and have not received a response. Finally at the end of October I called and spoke with a gentleman who states we must show proof my whole family had Covid. I then explained that the home tests were throne out since then. But I can provide a letter from my job stating the dates I was out of work. Once again no answer. I finally called the morning of December 8th and left a message stating I would be driving to the facility to discuss this in person. I met with Roy and he stated I should have purchased insurance and it states it in the contract. I replied back and said, “you told me if uncertain events was to happen it would be the owners decision if a refund could be given.” I then received an email from “Legends Event Center” stating a refund will not be given per the contract. Why? Having Covid was not planned! Why can’t I have my credit back? I feel SCAMMED! I feel like I did everything I was supposed to do, why can’t I even receive a refund of any of the money? I understand I can’t receive all the money, but why not even a portion? Why did it take so long for a response? The event was supposed to be in September it’s now December. I would be careful when planning an event with this facility so you don’t get ROBBED of your money!

Read moreWriting.a review for Graphic Couture that is operated from inside of Legends. Unfortunately, my review isn't a good one. I ordered my invites on 4/06/2017 for our party that was on 05/12/2017. It was short notice for Claudia the owner of Graphic Couture, but she told us that they would be ready in a week. We ordered 100 invites and 150 passes. We were given a great deal and were really happy. The reason I am giving them such a low rating is because the invitations were 4 days late. I met with someone (not Claudia) on Easter Sunday at 9 pm to pick up the invitations. We met on 59th and Camelback. Then followed to an apartment complex. Very unprofessional. But hey I wanted my invites. I had already put a deposit down for and didn't have much time. When I got home I started addressing envelopes. The envelopes didn't have anything to seal them so they were bad. I had to tape them shut which looks bad. Then I realized that our passes were all in Spanish which they were supposed to be half in English. The worst part was the word "recepción " was spelled wrong. Spelling errors are a big Nono on professionally made invites. I contacted Claudia Again!!! And she said she could reprint or refund. I told her I had already mailed invites out, but didn't get a response back from her. I wasn't sure what to do, but decided on a refund because there were to many mistakes made. I let Claudia know, then I received a text message back hours later that she'll do a refund but I'll have to return the invitations. Which I couldn't do. So, now I'm screwed. Lost my money, went through all this, and just to get miss spelled invitations. It's pretty messed up but unfortunately you live and you learn. Claudia seems like a very nice person, but I definitely feel like she procrastinated on doing my invitations and then did them in a hurry and it showed. She never messaged me to let me know there was a delay. I always had to reach out to her first. She sent me the proof of the English but not the Spanish even though she said she would. All in all I would not recommend this company. Not because the invitations themselves aren't nice looking, but because they have poor customer service skills. Read moreDO NOT TRUST THIS VENUE WITH YOUR WEDDING! I had my wedding at Legends Event Center, and the service was absolutely horrible. This venue promises a lot but fails to follow through on even the most basic things. Communication between staff was nonexistent. It felt like no one knew what was going on or what had been agreed to. The day of my wedding it was not set up as discussed previously and by the time I had to walk down the aisle, they were still scrambling to set up. I was stopped twice before walking down the aisle And asked about seating. I had turned in documents for seating arrangements, table, numbers, and payment ahead of time. They lack the responsibility of keeping track of their own documents. Suddenly, my payment was not found for the additional seating and food. Good thing I brought my contract folder and showed it after they confirmed it, It was still not set up properly.
We brought our own photo booth and were told they offered free Wi-Fi. On the day of the event, we asked multiple times for access, and they flat-out refused to give it to us. That was a major part of our setup, and they just didn’t care.
We also dealt with our DJ trying to charge extra fees, and it wasn’t until I involved management that those charges were suddenly dropped—completely unprofessional. The bartender kept making the drinks wrong.
I paid for extra seating and additional plates of food, only to find out the day of my wedding that management had completely forgotten to communicate with the caterer. The result? Stress, chaos, and guests without what I had already paid for.
You can’t redo your wedding day, and Legends Event Center ruined ours with their disorganization and lack of accountability. I do not recommend this venue to anyone planning an important event. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere that actually values their clients and follows through on their promises.
The only positive thing I can say about this is I met the owner twice and sadly she’s the only person that cares about her business and her clients. She has a heart and passion for what she does, can’t say the same for (some) of her employees that are the face of her business.
