Shawnee Event Center — Attraction in Pickaway Township

There is plenty of space indoors as well as easy access parking. There is a stage as well making the place pretty versatile for different types of gatherings. A large portion can be blocked off for smaller events.

Tables and chairs are freely available, though with the three events I've held here, they have not been easily accesed. (Once the room was cluttered and hard to navigate, but has been cleaned. The last event I had help set up, the supply room was locked.)

The owners' are attached to the building, so any needs can quickly be taken care of.

Small cons: As you round the end of your time slot, you may notice the owner around your event babysitting to ensure you clean quickly and properly. The time slots do not seem to leave a lot of room for set up. In our case, just an hour or two before the event start.

Overall, a pretty good place with a very reasonable price point. I have not had a bad time...

My husband and I had our wedding reception here, we loved it. It's big, has side rooms if you want to put your food in there for guests. They have a room where you can put your personal items as well if needed. There is a big stage with lights, the kids loved it! The owners were great, very friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful. Shoutout to the owner Tami for putting up with my many questions via email. She answered quickly and professionally....

Went to a friend's wedding there. Very nice place. They had a partitioning curtain that sectioned off the ceremony, then opened back up for the reception. Great feature. Cafeteria and dining area was nice size. Parking was ample. Definitely recommend it for a small wedding or an organization...
