Review: Madworld Haunted Attraction 2025
Madworld Haunted Attraction 2025 is full of thrills and fun. This lively experience features immersive rooms, energetic actors, carnival games, zombie VR, and an amazing gift shop. Our team explored the haunt and had a good time. Here's our thoughts:
Cast/Actors: 8/10 Actors stayed in character and interacted closely with guests, keeping the experience lively. Timing occasionally missed with larger groups, but most performers entertained well and added personality to each room.
Costumes: 8/10 Costumes were detailed, creative, and often movie-quality, helping bring characters to life. A few pieces slipped during scenes, but most were convincing and enhanced the atmosphere.
Customer Service/Organization: 9/10 Staff were friendly and helpful, offering photos and free popcorn. The flow inside the haunt was smooth, though signage to the entrance could improve. Staff guidance made finding the entrance simple and stress-free.
Decorations/Sets: 6/10 Some rooms were immersive and detailed, recreating horror scenes well. Others relied too much on cardboard, making certain areas feel unfinished. Stronger sets stood out, but overall consistency was uneven.
Entertainment: 10/10 Beyond the walkthrough, Madworld offers music, carnival games, zombie VR, active scare actors, free popcorn, and an amazing gift shop. The festival-style atmosphere keeps energy high before, during, and after the haunt.
Scare Score: 5/10 Scares were fun, but not extremely intense. Many setups were predictable, especially in larger groups. Some moments landed well, but the experience leaned more toward entertaining than terrifying.
Walk-through Time: About 40 minutes
Overall Rating: 7/10
Madworld Haunted Attraction is fun, lively, and full of entertainment. While some sets rely on cardboard and scares can be predictable, the energetic actors, creative costumes, and amazing gift shop make it a memorable Halloween night out for families and groups seeking a mix of thrills and...
Read moreFirst off, best haunted house experience ever!!!! With that said, the experience starts at the parking.
There was a couple of parking attendants that were brand new and had poor attitudes. They didn’t know what they were doing, they were yelling at guests, and making the first impression very horrible.
You have had a few years to get parking down and a whole month and a half this season. There are not clear lines and people always line up an hour early as the lines before 7 PM are very long.
Beyond the parking everything was great. The experience in the house and the trail was amazing. It was very scary and made me jump a few times.
The games were cool and mini golf was fun. Mini golf was a little crowded. Had to wait to play each hole but I’m sure that’s normal. $15ish per person maybe a lil steep but it’s ok.
There are some opportunities for other games and attractions and even maybe a fortune teller or tarot reading.
More horror themed gifts would be cool too.
All in all the experience was amazing. I gave 4 stars because parking attendants were rude and unorganized and looked so stressed and couldn’t organize the line properly without yelling at patrons. And then threatened to call security when they didn’t move in the right spot that he wanted. He made us move and then yelled because he didn’t specify where to move and said we were in the wrong line. It was very very very very bad experience with that part.
5 stars next year when parking is more organized. Maybe also add some lines on the ground on where the outside lines form up. I know having barriers won’t be probably because there is parking there but painted lines around the front would be more help than someone yelling who is obviously brand new and not capable of customer service.
This wasn’t my second year. I am looking forward...
Read moreNew review: One of the most improved haunts I’ve been to. MadWorld seems to have hired some visual artist to go through their haunt and totally refurbish the whole thing.
The new set pieces are very intriguing and the atmosphere was very good.
Excellent makeups. Each character was done very well. They have some very, very good actors.
Problems with the lines and the entry to the haunt has been fixed. You’ll enjoy actually waiting in line as the creatures interact with you. For some reason, our group had to wait an extra long time in this caged vestibule area. I’m not sure what was happening, but we waited very long time. But this is a fraction of a time than the old haunt so they seem to have fixed something.
New selfie stations were very neat and engaging. You’ll love taking pictures there.
New places to eat and merch area was way way way better than previous years.
This is definitely a hot. I would go to every year if they maintain this level of excellence.
Old Review from 3 years ago: “Very few actual set pieces. Wandering around mold infested black hallways get jump scared. For the price… was expecting more. Some actors have very good makeups. But these are walking around outside for the most part. The biggest deal is the mold smell and hay fever from whatever they were putting on the ground. A lot of this outdoors. I went 4 years ago, then last year. Not much has changed. Save your money head down the highway for...
