The Barn at Chestnut Springs — Attraction in Pigeon Forge

My husband and I are coming up on a 1 year anniversary in April and we have been reminiscing about our wedding. We had such a lovely experience while working with Melanie. She made everything so easy for us, and went above and beyond to help in any way she could. Just one example of her professionalism and kindness is, she even helped us with getting the timeline done for the photographers. That took such a huge stress off me during that time. She stayed in contact with us the whole time leading up to our wedding and would take time to answer any questions or concerns we had. The day of the wedding, when we showed up all the tables and chairs were set and all that had to be done was the finishing touches. It was truly a blessing working with Melanie! We just had our 5 year vow renewal here at The Barn. This place was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The owner Melanie was hands down the absolute best! She helped us with every single thing she possibly could from decorating to coordinating. Melanie treated us like we were family the entire year that we worked with her to plan things. She allowed us to come to the barn to do a practice on decorating and was there for us in anyway she possibly could be. She answered our numerous questions and was more than patient as we sorted out our plans && decided how we wanted to do everything. Since I was out of town I researched into venues in the Pigeon Forge area. There were tons of photos of the barn but what they don't show you is the huge aluminum buildings that are right in front the outside of the barn. Yes the back of it looks fantastic but we almost drove by it trying to find it because its hidden behind these buildings. Not only that but during our wedding we were never informed that once they stopped serving food you could no longer serve alcohol that may be because of the way alcohol is regulated in the area but we were never informed. The owner was nice over the phone but our wedding party reported to us that they had some issues with her attitude the day of the wedding.
