This is a beautiful park located on an artificial lake- gorgeous lots and views…Two areas of improvement would be their gate - this is a very busy day use Park and rather than operate a line for paid campers to enter and exit, the rangers are happy to let long lines form so if you’re a paid camper you will spend a good deal of your day surfing the internet on your phonewhile the long line in front of you have chats…The second challenge are the showers- two showers for all the men at one loop…with the pressure set at fire hose/sandblasting level. The good news is that you’ll come out looking younger- all my wrinkles have been scoured off…but I sure am going to miss...
Read moreRay Robert Isle Du Bois State park is a nice place for spending your weekend. There is a long lake side for swimming and boating. Beautiful scenary especillay during sunset. There are trekking routes for bikers and pedistrains. We saw a group of deers and a special black puffed tailed squrrel. On the route there were places for camping inside the forest/ trees. They also have some areas for swimming place by the lake. I like how clean the place was. I feel entrance fee is little high but worth it I think.
