On the first day we informed them that the unoccupied campsite next to us was plugged into our electric outlet and that theirs did not work because instead of unplugging their stuff we would just use theirs but it didn't work.We were told someone would come check it out and they never did so the next day we told them AGAIN there is no electricity. By that time we plugged into our proper outlet and unplugged a cord that was in our spot. We informed them what we had to do since nobody had come to help us and they began to yell at us and make rude comments as they "attempted" to fix the problem ( which wasn't really our problem since our proper outlet worked) this resulted in a yelling match. Their maintenance worker apparently quit a week after we were there so the owner called to tell us a week after that it was our fault his worker quit and we were banned. Never ever planned to return again anyways because in addition to the horrible service, the showers are disgusting and unsanitary, they charge a daily rate to park a single vehicle at your site in addition to lot fee, and there is sketchy tweekers hanging out at the bathrooms after dark. Don't waste your time renting a pavilion either because you more than likely won't have electricity there either. The cabins have no AC, thinner than jail mattresses, and sticky floors. Everyone who stayed in a cabin that weekend either left early or slept in their cars. It's a great place to fish but keep in mind even if you camp here you will still be required to pay the daily...

Me and my husband camped here for 4 nights.such a awsome experience.bathrooms are super clean the showers had nice hot water. The manager of the park helped us out alot and he was so friendly he keeps the park so nice and clean nice hiking trails and look out points and two awsome docks.boat lauch looked great also love all the stops on the trails to learn about animal habitats.northwood is down the road to do Some awsome shopping also lots of cheese places to try out the beach is so clean and lots of comfterble chairs out by the beach..our expeience here has been so awsome i wish i could give them more then 5 stars.the place has no rife rafe its very quiet and lots of parks for the kids to play all day.tons of parking the only thing that was a bit annoying was people that live in the city driving thru the park at all hours of the night driving at high speeds and reving their engines but all around id definatly tell family and friends about this place its absolutely BEAUTIFUL HERE.we...

This is a nice place to hang out for the day. It's a $3 day pass and a $6 boat launch pass. There is a kayak rental located there. $10 single rental, and $15 for a double that's an hour they also have a 4 hour rate as well. The water was nice the sand is soft. Grass is growing all around the beach area. They have a few grills, picnic tables and even chairs right on the beach. It was pretty clean and the bathrooms where okay. They also look like they have tant campers and RVs there too. Two short walking trail are nice.

Took my niece (3) & nephew (4) to this park and they absolutely loved it! I highly recommend going here. It is a free park with a few trails that you can walk, ride, run, or use a wheel chair on. There are a few watch towers as well. 2 separate play grounds for kids to play on. In the summer there is a gentleman who rents kayaks. There is a small dock to put boats in. You can walk the trail out to the peninsula which is about a 2-3 mile round trip I'd say. Great park in a great location!
