Boondoggle Winery — Attraction in Pine City Township

I've been to a lot of wineries and this one was one of the best. My wife and I are normally Cab drinkers. We had only whites ( which we can normally take or leave) and they were really good. The dandelion wine was amazing and the mint wine was unbelievable - yes you read that right - mint wine. They were only giving samples from a single bottle. I assure you I would have bought every bottle they had if I could have. I'm now on a waiting list anxiously waiting for the next batch to be ready for bottling. We will certainly return!! If Cheer’s was a winery in the farmland of Minnesota, it would be Boondoggle Winery. What a great experience. While they had some tasty “standard” wines the real highlights are the specialty wines. Some of the fine wines sampled were: Onion, dirty socks, tomato, jalapeño, blood orange, and mead. Very reasonable prices, $5 for 5 tastings and the owners, their family and friends were a blast to hang out with. Definitely worth the boondoggle...

Lovely, charming, the owners are kind and friendly. Very knowledgeable with fair pricing. This is not a pub or tavern, but a very cheerful and chatty wine bar nestled in a beautiful area of rural Minnesota. I frequent this place and that won't be changing...
