Hope Ranch — Attraction in Pineora

My private party tour consisted of three 4-year olds and two other mom friends and it's safe to say that this was by far the most fantastic animal experience that I have ever had. Shannon was our guide and is an absolute treasure. She knew the names of all the animals and a lot of interesting info about the animals and the ranch. You can tell that the animals here are well taken care of and loved. All of the enclosures were clean and constructed in a way that gives plenty of space to roam. When you combine a love of animals and a passion for educating kids about the importance of conservation and care, you get this wonderful ranch. Unlike a typical zoo, each tour is guided and packed with educational information related to each animal. This is the largest collection of birds I've ever seen and I've been to many zoos. I appreciate the attention to habitat design for each species. I was able to see animals I've never seen in person before and I'm 46! What a beautiful day our group had at Hope Ranch a few weeks ago. This visit was a pleasant surprise. When I think of a zoo, I think of a smelly place with iron bars and cement walls. This was nothing like that. The animals, birds, etc. that they have here is amazing. I never expected to see a camel or kangaroo, let alone all the exotic birds and other animals. It was a great experience and a fun day. Our guide provided us with so much information and was very knowledgable and interesting.
