Fountain Park — Attraction in Piqua

Went here for lunch and a small walk with a date. It went fairly well and the scenery in fall is wonderful here. The water looks so amazing and makes me want to bring my fishing poles so I could throw something in there to see whats swimming around in the water. I couldn't quite tell how deep or shallow it was but the water was dark so I'm guessing moderately deep. Also there is an albino squirrel that lives here and is the first one I've ever scene. It was pretty neat to see wrestling around in the leaves. We also got to see two swans swimming...

My sister rented the space for a family gathering and was told there was a stove, but when we arrived, it had clearly been removed. I understand why they did that. I remember this building being at the park from when I was a kid, and although it was pretty clean, it looks as though it hasn't been undated since. I think the parks department should make some minor updates and keep the rental cost at a reasonable rate because the foliage of the park would make a beautiful scenery for other gatherings as well. A lot of good memories from fountain Park they used to let off the fireworks here . I went here when I was a kid .I took my kids there. I spent time with my grandchildren there. Just a lot of beautiful memories .They used to have a free swimming pool here it's a shame they took it down. I remember swimming there free when I was a kid and I took my kids there when they were little.
