A very small park but lovely. I would not recommend travelling far to get here but if you are in the area something to check out (not for exercise freaks, too short an area). The entrance is hidden (basically). At the end of Nelson Ave there is a road barrier (metal, like you would see on the parkway) to stop anyone from running into that house. I parked there. The path to the park is in-between the 2 houses. There is a basketball court (one hoop) and an insanely perfect curated lot of bamboo (the owner of the the house I parked in front of had a sign that they are a landscape business... so, kudos to them, this is one well kept/confined bamboo forest!). The path leads to a bridge over Ambrose Brook with the spillway to your left. On the spillway lots of little birds are picking through the algae which is calming (and add the water fall sound). The views are great. There is only one lonely bench other than that you can just plant your butt on the concrete slabs that make up this end of the lake (for the spillway etc.). A good amount of water fowl was around even in my short time there. This is not a place to walk, more of a place to relax and enjoy the view.

This is a place to lower your boat in to the lake. There is one bench to sit, relax and enjoy natural beauty. The road leading to this place is unpaved and a little difficult to find. There is not very much flat land around, so be careful with kids.

Very nice area. Lots of creatures: snakes, birds, frogs, snails, fish. Found a snake skin. The actual walking area is very short. Most of it is private property
