A very small park but lovely. I would not recommend travelling far to get here but if you are in the area something to check out (not for exercise freaks, too short an area). The entrance is hidden (basically). At the end of Nelson Ave there is a road barrier (metal, like you would see on the parkway) to stop anyone from running into that house. I parked there. The path to the park is in-between the 2 houses. There is a basketball court (one hoop) and an insanely perfect curated lot of bamboo (the owner of the the house I parked in front of had a sign that they are a landscape business... so, kudos to them, this is one well kept/confined bamboo forest!). The path leads to a bridge over Ambrose Brook with the spillway to your left. On the spillway lots of little birds are picking through the algae which is calming (and add the water fall sound). The views are great. There is only one lonely bench other than that you can just plant your butt on the concrete slabs that make up this end of the lake (for the spillway etc.).
