Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta — Attraction in Pittsburg

The Delta can be many different things to many people, but for me, it’s a water sanctuary where we get to ski and explore no matter how warm or cold it is. Now I’ve never skied on New Year’s Day but many have. I prefer hot days and calm water but the truth is, it’s possible to find smooth water no matter how windy it gets though you may need to travel to find it. For those that know, the Delta is mucky and the water is gross but it’s still beautiful in a strange way and I love coming out whenever the chance arrives.
