The Barn at Timber Cove — Attraction in Pittsburg

Beautiful event center. The setting is gorgeous and feels secluded. Rustic yet elegant. Nice bathrooms and an added dressing room for the ladies. The one drawback is the lack of a kitchen. For a full meal, this means off site everything. No counter space for prep. The warming cabinet does not have baking sheets to set your chafing dish inserts on. The industrial refrigerator is nice, but only two shelves. No microwave for pre-melting of chocolate or quick steeping of tea for fountains. They do have a three compartment sink, but the water never got past lukewarm. All dishes could be rinsed, but not washed. They do have a wooden bar area that is perfect for setting up coffee, water and cake. It is also perfect if you are offering a full service bar to your guests. Again, I want stress that The Barn is beautiful and the secluded location gorgeous. The space is open and comfortably seated 150+ guests, a dance area, chocolate fountain bar and full buffet. Barn is lovely inside and out with good cross-air circulation inside. Plenty of room to space out and maintain social distancing if someone wanted to do so. Restroom was very clean and well appointed. My one complaint is the sound system was very difficult to understand, even during the wedding ceremony.
