Another (there are soooo many!) gorgeous covered bridge. This old girl, built in 1842, is a Town Lattice Truss type with deeply "porched" portals, and iron reinforcements added to her trunnel-supported build. Trunnels, or "tree nails", are the wooden pegs, sometimes round or square, that hold together the lattice type truss work. Great bridge. Great spot on the creek. Great state....
