Harris Family Farm — Attraction in Placerville

Great experience today!! They were able to get us in on a waitlist same day since reservations are required this year due to Covid. Super friendly staff and a great family farm feel to it. Staff took their time explaining to us where all the specific Christmas trees were and were genuine in conversation. The pie shop was amazing with all kinds of goodies. I remember going to Harris Tree Farm as a child when we lived in the Sacramento area. When I moved back I was excited to renew the tradition again with my family! We've been going for the last 5-6 years and it's a tradition that will be continued from now on for us! There's nothing quite like cutting down your own Christmas tree. They also have a little bakery where Santa hangs out with his cats Mr. T and the orange one (we didn't catch his name...he was a little shy) They have delicious homemade donuts, a wide selection of baked goods, and delicious apple cider (try the cider....seriously). If you haven’t had high tea in the orchard here, you are truly missing out!! The baked goods are amazing, the best on the mountain! You can pick your own fresh fruits and veggies or buy thing from the little store. Don’t skip the apple cider donuts either, they are amazing!!
