I had a birthday party here today for my son. My first complaint is my cake lady dropped the cake off at the desk & told whom it was for etc. she texted me it was delivered and I went to the front and they had trouble locating the cake and it took several “teenage” workers to give me a straight answer. It was put into another party room with another party in it. The “teenage” worker said she spoke “the party mom” and listed my son’s name. I laughed and I said I AM his mother, so no you didn’t talk to ME. She didn’t care that she misplaced the cake, kind of laughed it off. My second complaint is, the cake was smashed on the side because they put the box on its side rather than sitting up, it was a two tiered cake. The party host was wonderful, very on top of everything and overall very attentive I have no complaints there. However, I’ve had both my step son and my son’s birthdays there for several years. Each year my son and the other kids would go back out to jump during the “party room time” because we had finished and still had time left. Today we were told by another “teenage worker” that’s not allowed and has never been allowed and she was happy that I got that in the past but wouldn’t be able to do that going forward and proceeded to kick the kids off the trampolines. I had dropped a birthday card (obviously my mistake) and asked every worker if they had seen it, everyone acted as if they hadn’t heard or seen anything being turned in. My sister went to the front and magically when the manager was mentioned the card was given back.
I won’t be coming back. It’s sad, because like I said my kids enjoy sky zone and we have had multiple parties here including one recently in February for my step son but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I get rules are rules & I am not one to complain but this wasn’t a good experience for me or anyone who came...

It is a HUGE change that he asked to go to a public place like that! Being Autistic, and generally uncomfortable in public, it was pretty big deal.
The place was clean, safe, and fun. The staff were wonderful.
He even had a meltdown and everyone handled it perfectly...unfortunately they had to be involved in it.
It was triggered by the fact he was STUCK in the foam block pit! And I mean stuck. Could NOT get out. I tried pushing him out. I tried pulling him out. I could not get him out.
And to add to the drama, tiny pieces of blue and grey foam were shedding off the blocks and covering his clothes and hair. (Setting off his sensory issues.) So he panicked and melted down. The teenage employees there, calmly and sweetly spoke to him ,and some of the boys literally lifted, from in the pit, while others pulled from the outside edge, until pulling him out! ( He was no longer assisting. Just crying. So total dead weight. And he is not a small 10 year old!) They rescued him, then offered us waters and to stay right there and rest for a few minutes, and they would close that "attraction" temporarily!
Then they simply went on about their business.
No fanfare. No over attention.Just let him chill. Lovely young people!
And because of their kindness and perfect handling of the situation, we were able to, and felt WELCOME to, stay for 45 more minutes of fun!
**Thank you Sky Zone in Plainfield, Indiana! You made a boy very happy on his birthday. And your kind staff earned my respect and appreciation.
We will be back! (Don't worry...NO foam pit...
Read moreI'm absolutely appalled at the service and staff of this facility. We've been coming here for months and there are a large group of moms that bring their toddlers here on Friday's or Saturday's. I will be advising everyone of how poorly the facility is currently being run. Today they failed to play childrens music during the specified toddler time, half way through toddler time they allowed multiple 7 year old girls to run in and jump with toddlers. My daughter is 19 months old and there is absolutely no reason these children should have been jumping with toddlers as it is a huge safety hazard. They were playing adult music and failed to get the toddler toys out like they used to in the past. Not only did they allow the older children to jump, but they then proceeded to draw a curtain to divide the toddlers and older kids. Clearly they have no clue how to run a business. It's impossible to tell toddlers they were allowed to use the full court to jump, but randomly they're only allowed half. Children cannot grasp this concept. Not only that, but we are paying customers and deserve to be treated as such. It resulted in us having to leave half way thru so my poor child didn't get trampled on. The worse part- I called to complain and the response I got was- "yea we over booked. Sorry. But I told those girls (the 7 year olds) not to be too wild". And when I asked for a refund they told me no. I hope this place goes out of business....
