We JUST had our wedding reception there and I lost track of the number of guests that came to me complimenting my choice of venues. The property is gorgeous, inside and out. Every single time I was there in a Monday through Thursday there was a team of people working on the landscaping and decorations. It shows. I'll be honest, you may pay a little more up front, but there is a LOT of decorating that they do so YOU don't have to. YOU can enjoy the freedom to add your personal touches, but the big stuff is already done. That will save you frustration during your planning that is well with the little bit of money, but for us it actually saved in the long run by having to provide less. Now, you may read some complaints on here, but look in to why.
Others expect the same beautiful venue that you do just the very next day. We met the owners, Glen and Lisa, a number of times. They were both always polite and very nice to us, even stopping to talk. They invest a lot of time and effort in to keeping up this venue. If you can respect the property so somebody else can can have their dreams come true a few hours after you leave, you will have a great time. If you threaten their ability to provide that same dream space to others, they have every right to be understandably annoyed because THEY will hear complaints because of YOU. I am grateful for the attention to detail that Glen and Lisa put in to their business.
You will also have a chance to go with what they call their platinum package. They have a list of preferred vendors. I highly suggest you use them. They all know each other and communicate with each other regularly. They, again, can fine tune things behind the scenes so you don't have to. We had SO many compliments on the food from their preferred caterer, their photographer was right on top of things suggesting a schedule and keeping us on it so we, again, didn't have to worry about it day of and we could just focus on our experience. Their new in house florist did a great job with the arrangements and was right there keeping things up. The DJ was great all night long, and communicated with us throughout the night keeping us updated on a schedule and even asking if we wanted any changes. Awesome job. Our coordinator Alexandria was responsive to any question we had before, and she was right there throughout the night keeping things on track. The bartenders and servers from Sip were all polite and attentive. They even went so far as having the drink supplies delivered and unopened bottles returned so we, thankfully, hehe not had to worry about that in the storm of activity. So, if you want a flawless experience, do the platinum package. They are preferred vendors for a reason, and it will save you time and stress of interviewing and finding just the right vendors. That work is already done.
In short, if you want one stop shopping for your perfect wedding reception, this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe venue was amazingly beautiful and overall it was an amazing wedding, however there were some things that need to be improved on.
The night of the rehearsal a few of the adults were walking around the venue with some of the little kids to distract them while we were going through the rehearsal. The kids were by the fountain and a man opened a window and literally screamed at the kids saying that there are chemicals in there. I completely understand the concern but how he addressed it was entirely unnecessary. The kids were with 2 adults, and I wish he would have talked to the adults instead of yelling at the kidsā¦.it was so unnecessarily aggressive to the point where he made one of the small kids cry because he scared them so bad.
That same evening, a few of the kids took their shoes off to run around outside and again got yelled at. One of the kids had a blister from the shoes she was wearing. After trying to explain this to the lady who told them to put their shoes onā¦she still didnāt care and told her to put her shoes back on. I again understand the concernā¦however when a little girls foot is bleeding from blisters from her shoesā¦I think an exception could be made.
Also we had a bottle of champagne that all the bridesmaids were drinking in the bridal suite. After we came back from taking pictures, it was missing and we were later informed that they took it only after seeing it behind the bar. A heads up before just taking it would have been nice. If you would have explained the policy if we broke it, we would have been more than understanding but it wasnāt cool to just come in the suite when we werenāt in there and take it without saying a word to us. The same thing happened to the groomsmen while they were out taking pictures. They left a bunch of beer in the fridge and when they got backā¦it was all taken without a word being said to them. I understand policies are probably in place for reason, but they could have been communicated first instead of taking it without an explanation. I donāt know if this was previously explained to the bride and groom, but they have a million things they are planning/stressing over, which makes it completely understandable if they may have forgot that they were previously told not to bring alcohol, so maybe just remind your bride and grooms in the future.
Lastly, the bride was nervous before she was going to walk down the aisle and wanted to have a drink with all her bridesmaids to ease the nerves. One of the bridesmaids asked a worker if we could please get a drink for the bride, and she was told noā¦again with no explanation. I just donāt get it, they spent so much money on the venue, I donāt think itās out of line for the bride to be allowed a drink.
Like I mentioned it was a beautiful venue. I understand that policies are in place and I completely understandā¦I just wish all around the communication could have been...

My husband and I got married at The Farmhouse in July of 2025. We couldn't decide on the venue and then one day, just like that, as if someone was guiding us to this place, we came across it by pure coincidence, literally driving right by it. You won't find this place on wedding websites, this is truly a hidden gem. At the first visit, we totally fell in love with this place and knew this is where we wanted to get married. The property is so beautiful! The grass is perfectly manicured, flowers everywhere, outside cozy sitting areas for people to relax, various fireplaces to enjoy some smores and keep you warm on those cool evenings, beautiful lights that add to total charm of the whole place, and some of my favorites, the original farmhouse that's converted into a whiskey/cigar lounge, as well as the old "garage" that's converted into a drink lounge. And then there is the main building; it is so whimsical, beautiful, and modern. The whole place is like from a fairly tale! You could tell that the owners take the best care of this place to all of our benefit. The boys had a blast upstairs in the grooms quarters prior to the ceremony, while us girls, fully enjoyed the bridal suite and the makeup room.
When I first arrived, I was immediately greeted by the owner, who helped me carry in all the stuff that I brought. Then Alex took over and she was a Godsend! She was my "day-of-coordinator" and really ran a tight ship. She made sure that everything was properly arranged and looked perfect, that we were on schedule and in the right order for the ceremony, and followed up on our lunch order to get it in early. At the end, she made sure everything was all packed up for us. We truly didn't have to do anything other than put things in our car. I am so grateful for her time and her attention to detail. THE BEST!
Our guests and our vendors, from our hairstylist, to the photographer, and especially our caterer, Ovy Signature Catering (just the best food), absolutely loved the place too! This was their first time there as well and they all said that being there was the best surprise! Our caterer shared with me that the staff at The Farmhouse was very professional, the kitchen was spectacular and pure bliss to work in, and even their staff had a lot of fun being there and loved serving our guests. They're hoping to be back there soon again.
Our special day went by soooooo fast but the memories of this place will last a lifetime. Thank you for all that you...
