Located in North Plano near MA Skaggs elementary, CM Rice Middle School, and the family YMCA. The park is filled with 90% Asians trying to exercise. Russell Creek Park is a very nice and beautiful place. There's a lot of friendly people around as well as Pokestops/gyms. Many Pokemon raids of powerful Pokemon can be battled and obtained at this park. This is also a great place to get your steps in. Kids may enjoy their time at the large playground or build a sand castle in the volleyball court. Beach volleyball and basketball are also available at the park. Many soccer fields are also available to practiced trickshots and dribbling. Most people bike or walk around the man-made pond that houses a plethora of fish and ducks. Many individuals throw break and corn kernels for the ducks to eat which is not very good for the duck's natural behaviors. Around the pond are many benches where one could take a rest and enjoy the scenery when tired. A trail is also available in the area, where many people walk and run in order to lose calories. There is also a pavillion where one could host parties or gatherings. The entire park is filled with signs that say "Scoop the poop" to remind dog owners to clean up after their dogs. I would highly recommend coming to this park to enjoy free time and spending time with family and friends. Always remember to respect the wild life and watch out for coyotes.

Spending time at the lake is an incredibly refreshing experience perfect for anyone who loves nature, relaxation, and outdoor activities. The early morning walk around the lake is simply magical the cool breeze the soft sounds of birds chirping and the gentle ripples of the water create an atmosphere of pure peace. The fresh air and scenic views make it an ideal place to clear your mind and start the day on a positive note.

For fishing enthusiasts the lake is a fantastic spot to cast a line and enjoy the calm surroundings. fishing for fun the experience is relaxing and rewarding. Watching the sunrise over the water while waiting for a catch is a feeling that’s hard to beat. The serenity of the lake, combined with the thrill of fishing makes it a perfect getaway from the busy city life. The weather is usually pleasant with a peaceful ambiance that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re walking along the shore sitting quietly with a book or simply admiring the beauty of nature the lake offers a perfect escape for relaxation. It’s a place where time slows down, allowing you to appreciate the simple joys of life. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect...

We lived a couple of blocks from this part, and rarely went there (my wife and I were empty nesters). Both of us were busy with careers, and it was easier to walk our Great Dane on the neighborhood streets. I use to walk my Dane there on occasion, but too many other people let their dogs run loose and I was concerned that if their animal charged my dog, the other people would have been minus a pet. The park was a popular place and it certainly helped in selling our house when we moved, as people were interested in having the park that close to the house, but still removed by a couple of blocks. The only time I ever saw that park empty was late at night or really early in the morning. Everyone that I talked with seemed to enjoy the park, with the exception of the people who lived just across the street from it (people parking their cars next to their houses most of...
