Have always used Windy Ridge for garden plants. We always spend hundreds of dollars in early May, this year alone we spent over $350! I dont like cherry tomatoes so I always opt for slicing and paste (for canning). This year I noticed all of the beefsteak tomato plants were growing in clusters (I still have the tags for what I thought were 'beefsteak'). Turns out they were all sweet 100's. I was hoping for an acknowledgement or an apology but got neither. Instead I was told that kids will someone's take tags from one plant and switch them out for another. But I picked up four 4 pks of beefsteaks from what was clearly marked as beefsteak. How did each pack end up in the wrong section with the wrong tag?

This is time of year (spring), they have all of the annuals you could imagine, perennials, flowers of all colors, vegetable plants, indoor plants, succulents and outdoor plants. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. I felt they cared about what I was looking for and ensured I felt good with my choices. The quality of plants from Windy Ridge are far superior compared to other similar greenhouses I shop at closer to the city (KC), so this year I purchased the majority of my plants here. I feel the prices are fair and competitive as well. Windy Ridge is worth the trip, you will not be...
