One of the last great Lookout points in the area you could see from Walnut Creek all the way to Martinez different spots for different views or one spot where you can see the entire View great places to bring your kids right now it's really green there I have some really good pictures to go along with this. I'll show you the whole thing. If you ever go here I'm sure you'll like it I seen people they're using their electric cars that were having a lot of fun. People just go there to sit and look at the view which is extraordinary sure. There's no way you can get it less than five stars because it's perfect. Straight to walk your dog If you have a dog I like to take places like this if I can find them. I knew about this place for a long time. I have"nt been there in a decade maybe longer. And it's still just as nice as it ever was. 40 years ago there wasn't as many houses around it but it's still pretty much the same. Best view in this area for sure unless you go up on top of Mount Diablo mat be. So enjoy dinosaur Hill bring your dog and your kids it's a great place to have a picnic or just enjoy the sites for a bit. Either way you will enjoy it.

Dinosaur Hill Park has been here since I can remember. (1955) It is right in back of the house my Dad built at that time on Random Way. I loved climbing the hill up to the top so I could see the incredible view!!! I went there December 28th 2018 for the first time since 1960. WOW!!! The day was so clear and the view was just spectacular!!! I took some pictures that I added the photos to this place on Google maps. The only reasons I didn't give dinosaur Hill Park five stars is because there are no facilities here and it really needs some work for access especially for the handicapped. There is just a dirt path and there are some rickety stairs not to be trusted. This area is not really accessible during the rain or when it's really wet. There is no pavement and and no cement. Just dirt and mud and grass. There is a handicap parking place and the pathway is accessible if it is dry. Another thing I was disappointed in was that people have spray-painted graffiti on the interesting natural rocks and boulders. Please be respectful of this place

This is a short athletic loop trail without a lot of shade midday. The thing that ruins this park is the adjacent neighbors, who either let their dogs run up to you off leash, yell at you aggressively like they have authority from over a 100 yards away when you're minding your own business and avoiding them, and many have broken fences along the park. A woman hangs out in her yard by a back entrance waiting to yell at people. A lot of people treat this like an off leash park, which it's not, and the frustrated neighbors will yell at you even if your dog is behaving. There are a couple of friendly faces but you never know what you'll get on a hike here so be prepared for anything. People also park here to urinate, even though there are no facilities; or to hang out in their cars taking up the four...
