Southland Shopping Center — Attraction in Pleasant Hills

All the stores are good examples of each chain and the parking lot is typically big enough to hand the amount of traffic and its in ok shape, no major crime and not a bunch of drug addicts running around and hopefully they keep it that way. 4 stars because its just a bunch of chains but not bad in the terms of each of them. Skip the grocery store as it sucks and has no stock, all pre packed and claims to be some kind of nature store and that is not the case....

Southland is in flux right now with a few empty storefronts. They have dining options (McDonald's, Wendy's, Panera Bread, Chik-fil-A to name a few). They also have specialty shopping (DSW, Best Buy, JoaAnn Fabrics, Tuesday Morning, Party City, Fresh Thyme). They also have service a (Pelusi Hair Salon, Massage Envy, LA Fitness). It's a strip mall that's approximately 1 mile long on rt 51. You can find a lot of stuff there, but be prepared to walk or...

Okay, so it's a PetSmart. It has everything you would expect from a PetSmart there. It's in a convenient location, and I found exactly what I needed. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I'll be going there for all my pet needs when I'm in a bind. ( Honestly, I normally order online for home delivery) , but they were fantastic!
