TODAYS @GORUCK Mambourg Park! 116+ acres in Pleasant Township in the east-central part of the county. The site was acquired 2003 by donation from Board of County Commissioners of Fairfield County. Some of the activities you will be able to enjoy at this park are visiting the Mambourg Nature Center, birding and nature observation, photography, hiking or walking, dog walking, and educational programs. https://www.fairfieldcountyparks.org/parks/mambourg-park/ #pump30 #75hard #smallcircle #removenegativeenergy #animalbasedeating #getoutside #keeprockin #ohio #diml #over50

A very nice park. Part of Fairfield County Park District. The park has 2 trails. One allows pets. Trails are for the most part easy with a couple sections moderate but by no means difficult. It has a nature center but not open yet. Also a decent size pond (fishing and swimming not allowed). The park is not large but it has a lot to offer.

A nice little park with 2.5 miles worth of hilly trails that are pretty well maintained. There was one spot on the oak trail that was poorly demarcated, so I momentarily thought I was off-trail. The nature center has very limited hours, so I did not get to visit.

My new favorite place to enjoy a nice short hike (30-60 min) and trails are not too difficult. They have separate paths for people and pets. I've enjoyed several encounters with wildlife like chipmunks, squirrels, and groundhogs. Visitor center is not opened yet but there is a porta potty located in the corner of the large parking lot if you walk the concrete drive down to the buildings, in case you...

I had 30 minutes between work events in the area and wanted to take a quick hike. This park ticked all the boxes. 1.5 mile loop trail Mostly wooded with a small prairie section with native plants Well maintained trails Very well marked trail Variation in elevation along the way Highly recommend and will definitely come back when I’m in the area. It also made me want to check out more Fairfield...

It is a really beautiful park and one we never knew was so close to us. I just wish there were more trails for pets. The Oak trail said no pets at all entrances. We didn’t get to do the Hickory trail, which is one for pets because we were not equipped to go off the gravel trails today. We do plan to come back and try that one soon though, and the nature...
