Have been a loyal patron for years and will never visit this establishment again, just wanted to share my experience. Visited rockside this weekend with my girlfriend, we both drove separately, and after having a few drinks, I decided it would be wise to ride home with her rather than drink and drive. We had plans the entire day the next day and didn't make it back until the following day only to find out that they'd had my car towed (which hadn't even been in the parking lot for a whole 24 hours when they towed it).

Moral of the story is thanks for being an alcohol serving establishment that you can't even leave your car at if you don't want to be out on the road driving drunk.

Sweet business model.

Edit: it was still less than 48 hours so not super sure how that is "significantly more time, than a 24 hour grace period" but thanks for the response. Saw the parking lot, know it wasn't busy, and my car was not blocking/affecting business in any way.

Edit edit: just got my car out of the impound and you guys literally called the next morning. Not even 12 hours later. So much for your "significantly more than 24 hour grace period" and after talking to people about my experience I learned from others that this is a common thing for you guys to do. Your business is a joke and I will do my best to steer anyone I can away...

Very unpleasant experience ! Meeting friends for and engagement dinner, they had reserved table for the group. Got there a little early, as we were asked to all seating was taken. So we stood near the bar for a few minutes waiting for my friend as I didn't know the rest of the party. We were never asked if we were waiting, if we wanted to get on a waiting list , nothing. After a few minutes at the bar. I was told by a rude woman working it that she can't have people just standing at the bar. My husband attempted to order us 2 glasses while we waited, and she tried to sell just the glasses, as if we came to buy merchandise. He explained we would like wine in them. She said, "Are you taking them with you ?" Follwed by we couldn't drink outside, very confusing since there is an outdoor patio area. We had been inside the establishment for over 15 minutes at this point. Again, she never asked if we wanted to be on a waiting list or if we were part of the large party. So we weren't allowed to sit, drink, stand at the bar or drink on the patio. I have never, in what seemed to be an intimate setting, been treated so poorly while being completely ignored simultaneously. I will not be returning...

I came here for the first time this evening with my friend and our two dogs. Prior to arriving, we reached out via Facebook to see if they are dog friendly and we were told yes, as long as the dogs are well behaved and under control at all times. The drinks were great, and as closing time approached we allowed our dogs to play with each other in an open part of the field by the tables. Both dogs were wearing e collars at the time and both are off leash trained with excellent recall. The employee came out after about 20 minutes and claimed that our dogs charged an ATV and that they had to be on a 6 foot leash. That never happened, and I have no issue putting them on leash but she was rude about it and came to us claiming false allegations. There are no signs stating the dogs must be leashed and the message simply said to keep them under control, not on leash. This could have been handled...

Update: Just as gorgeous, friendly, and delicious as when we first came years ago. Foodie approved slushies and everyone approved food and wine selection. Bottom line - you're missing out if you visit the Hocking Hills area and don't stop here. Original Review: Beautiful setting. Staff was very friendly and gave excelled pairing advice with each tasting. Wines ranged from dry to sweet and included fruit wine options. Also had DELICIOUS wine slushies and very nice small plates. Wines were flavorful and had a nice feel on the tongue. Sweet wines weren't syrupy sweet. Very pleasant experience, would whole heartedly recommend to a friend!

We were looking for a good place for wine tasting and luckily they were open on Tuesday. Most others were not open till later in the week. We were welcomed when we entered. The building is clean and comfortable and new looking. The staff is helpful to pick wines. We each got a 4 flight of wine to taste. We shared a nice meat and cheese board. The food was fresh and delicious. The wines we chose we more on the sweet side and were also very good. I highly recommend trying this vineyard. Prices are fair. The environment is comfortable. The restrooms are clean. I will come back.
