Magnolia Plantation — Attraction in Pocahontas

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Plantation and the people who operate it. I have delivered cakes there MANY times and each time, I am stunned by the beauty and versatility of the outdoor and indoor spaces. You are in exceptional and capable hands with Amanda. She is ready to go above and beyond in trying to meet your needs and help your vision become a reality, with as much (or as little) involvement as you require of her. She is amazing with all things event related and so sweet! The property itself is stunning, between it's lake, fields, hills, forests, and the grand 3 story home. It's as if it jumped off the pages of an HGTV magazine spread, ready to house your group and/or host gatherings of any kind. Amanda has built the most beautiful event center anywhere in the area right there on the property, easily accessible with lots of parking. Whether it is a wedding, reception, reunion, birthday party, spring formal, seasonal market or festival.... you cannot beat this space! I was fortunate to secure a space there for her Fall Market to showcase my cakes and sell treats, the center was full and local patrons were very happy to have such a nice environment to shop in! Complete with a kitchen and GORGEOUS loft space and stairway, the large event center is stunning! Our family has also used the home as a venue for a birthday party as well, and everyone LOVED the lit up outdoor patio by the pool! Amanda offers so many options between the outdoor space, home, and event center..... your event will most certainly be tailored to your needs and will be memorable for your guests! I worked with Amanda and Brent as the coordinator for a wedding in early October 2020. Everyone at The Plantation went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed for the event!

The tables, chairs, and linens were already setup upon our arrival on Friday allowing us to focus on the remainder of the setup without stressing over time. We were allowed and encouraged to use any of their decorations as well!

In addition, we stayed at the house across from the event center. This was super convenient providing a perfect place for the bridal party to stay and get ready.

The Plantation Venue is one of a kind place! The beautiful place has a heartwarming four story house that was built on gorgeous land that features a lake!
