Narrow roads, trees close to the roads, impossible to turn around and NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY. Drove 9 hours from Connecticut because they told us our 30ft trailer would fit,and upon arrival we learned the roads were very narrow and windy and the sites were small. There was no possible way to maneuver the camperinto into such a small site with such little road space. When we told a staff member, he was rude and disrespectful and couldn't even direct us to someone who could give us a refund. Overall had a bad experience and ended up needing to drive another 30 miles south to a different campground. 0/10 would not recommend. There's a lake but it says "no swimming, known hazard". You can go to different areas of the forest that are quite far apart, offering an abundance of natural surroundings and some great historic sites, while the Wild & Scenic Pocomoke River winds through a portion of it.
