Absolutely Incredible Experience at Sunset Hill Shooting Range!
I recently visited Sunset Hill Shooting Range for a bachelor party, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and excited—thanks in large part to the amazing instructors Antonio and Joe.
This was my first time at a shooting range, and I was a little nervous walking in. But Antonio and Joe were absolutely fantastic at putting me at ease right away. Their professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm made all the difference. They explained everything clearly, walked me through every step of the process, and made sure I was comfortable and confident before handling any firearm.
What stood out most to me was how focused they were on safety and education. They didn’t just hand over a gun and let me figure it out—they took the time to teach me proper technique, explain how each firearm worked, and made sure I understood how to handle everything with complete respect and awareness. That made me feel super secure and able to really enjoy the experience.
Antonio was especially helpful with guiding me through the basics and correcting my form in a supportive, encouraging way. Joe brought a great sense of humor and calm to the session, and made sure every question I had was answered thoroughly. They both struck the perfect balance between being serious when needed and fun when it was time to shoot.
The range itself is well-maintained, with a great selection of firearms and a really welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, I think anyone would feel comfortable here.
If you’re thinking of trying a shooting range, Sunset Hill is the place to go, and Antonio and Joe are the people you want as your instructors. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely care about giving you the best possible experience. I left with a big smile on my face and a real appreciation for the skill and discipline involved in shooting.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and educational day out. Can’t wait...
Read moreI couldn’t let the week go on without writing a review of our VIP experience at Sunset Hill Shooting Range this past Monday — and this is actually my first-ever review, because this experience truly deserves it.
First off, the drive from NYC to Pennsylvania was absolutely worth it. Sunset Hill is nestled in a beautiful, lush forest area that made for a scenic, calm, and relaxing journey. Once we arrived, we were met with genuine hospitality — greeted with smiles and made to feel like longtime customers, even though it was our first visit. The range itself was clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with safety as a top priority. They had a great selection of firearms to rent and a solid inventory of ammo and gear. I also appreciated the clear safety briefings and the presence of range officers who were attentive but never overbearing.
The instructors, Jisahn and Tony, were phenomenal. They gave us a thorough rundown on everything — how to shoot, proper stance, aiming, and, most importantly, safety. They created a safe, welcoming space where no question felt silly. They were incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, especially for beginners like us.
What really made this stand out was how personalized it felt — this was the VIP experience, and we were truly treated like VIPs. They even allowed us to take photos and videos, which made it all the more memorable.
To top it off, we got to keep our paper targets, bullet casings, and eye protection as souvenirs — a perfect reminder of an unforgettable day.
This won’t be our last visit. We’re already looking forward to going back. Huge thanks to the team at Sunset Hill — you made it an amazing experience from...
Read moreThis place is a living example of aphorism " The mountain gave birth to a mouse". Let me explain. Excellent choice of weapons. Good customer service in face of Tyler, really nice and endearing person, he's explain clear and simple. Place get automatic weapons, it's unique options. Weapons in good condition and have many mounts, looks great.
Great start hah? But after that we have only disappointing. We can't armed or reload chosed weapon. We haven't choose any interesting target. We can't MOVING any automatic weapons, it's just stuck or clamped in a vice. You just pull the trigger, and that's it. Nobody explained about paid for the eye's and ears defence, about paid for the paper target. Greed.
Very high price, especially for the automatic weapons. 100 bucks for 20 shoot, 175 bucks for the 30 rounds on 1919. Are you serious? In USA problem's with bullets? For this money I may BUY a weapon. After that in every corner this place, every shooting range hanging a sight "DON'T FORGET ABOUT TIPS". And you don't forget about your prices, I got same prices in Russia, however, there is a remark: Russians cannot have anything other than a hunting rifle, and even this can be achieved after the most complex procedures. You can't get good photos with weapons, and when your friends shooting. Employee cover all visible possibilities to take a video or photos. Another make comments "Please step back". I come to your place for the fun and do some photos, maybe you "step back"?
Anyway it was fun, unique experience, but we never comeback. Too expensive, too many restrictions. Tourist attraction with many rules, like kindergarten...
