I've been here once on a winter day, but this is what I noticed:
It's pretty! I wanted to walk the trail that goes along the stream, but one of us tripped and needed to go back.
There are definitely trip hazards! The trail is made of an uneven rock, so be careful. This is not something that could be navigated with a stroller, wheelchair, or walker.

I think people were parking in the HOAs cul-de-sac and not the actual parking lot so... Fyi. You should park off the paved surface. There's a video camera there and a bulletin board.

We got lost and ended up having to backwoods it back to the trail using google maps. You're probably ok if you stick to the trail and when it gets unclear, just do out and back instead of trying to do the loop. A lot of the trail is pretty rocky as well (as in rocks on the ground, not uphill or rock climbing) so be forewarned it's probably unideal for little kids, seniors or anyone who needs to be extra careful walking and/or with a walking-related disability (foot...
Read moreWe did this hike with our kids. It's an easy walk but rocky in some spots. Be aware though, the trail is not clearly marked a d we went way out of our way and needed to depend on the locals to get us back on track! I think the trail must go along the power lines. We didn't realize this and continues straight on the trail. This took us out to Jonas Road.
On our hike we saw a box turtle. I heard various birds including red eyed vireo, Tufted titmouse, black capped chickadee, yellow billed cuckoo, and a Hooded warbler and we saw a...
