The campground sites are amazing and the bay is beautiful. Right between Bigfork and Polson and overall a amazing experience…however the camp hosts this year were awful…it was 2 older people the lady was somewhat nice while staying but very rude when we tried to get a spot earlier in the week when the campground was full. She was nice when she got on duty towards the end of our stay but very hostile in the beginning. The man however Jarvis I believe his name was absolutely abhorrent. He basically harassed us our entire stay even though we did absolutely nothing wrong, we followed camp rules, were quiet during quiet hours, and didn’t harm or desecrate the experience for other campers what so ever. Every day he would come to our site harass my group members about anything. He didn’t do his job while on duty he would simply patrol the park and stand at the entrance like some kind prison guard. He made a “joke” saying one of my members should shoot another one of our members because of his snoring, threatened to write us a $80 ticket for parking in our campground spots to make room for boat trailers (even though he told us we could park there at the beginning of our stay). He would creepily stare at us while we swam and would go out of his way to bother us in anyway he could. He was an absolute nightmare and there are other reviews about him as well. We are reporting him to FWP and hoping they do something about this absolute nightmare of a host. People like Mr Jarvis ruin amazing and phenomenal parks like yellow bay with their behavior. Other than Ranger Rick harassing our family and making our first couple of days at camp a nightmare the bay is a wonderful place to stay and deserves all the love and...

Plan to arrive early and stay late - incredibly beautiful location. It does get "full" of vehicles quite early in the day when it is going to be a nice day so go a little earlier to secure a spot. The water is pristine and the swimming area is stunning! It is rocky but a good towel, some water shoes (if you prefer) would be helpful. There were picnic tables and lots of families in the water and enjoying the shoreline. Clean bathroom facilities (a little rustic but clean). No food/water sold here so bring your supplies. For littles maybe a life jacket would be helpful and it gets deep quickly. If you are in the area there are several restaurants nearby that are worth the visit. If you want to feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle make this a...

This is a great spot to swim and camp in the summer. The reason for 2 stars is the camp host that was there a few years ago. I stopped in to use the bathroom, walked to lake, and was going to leave. The guy confronted me( can’t think of any other word for it, not a nice individual ) snuck up on me said I had to pay, to use the restroom I guess, I was there about 10 min total. It was harassing behavior and his intimidating manner that I should have reported to agency that hired him. This was in the summer and there literally was nobody there, so that says a lot. If you don’t want people to even use the restroom or look around put a sign up. He acted like I was...

Beautiful campground with nice and shady camps. The park hosts are friendly and helpful. It's right on the lake and has several picnic benches located near the shore. Next door is the University of Montana Flathead Lake Biological Station, which has a really nice nature trail. I stayed in early June and I had the entire camp to myself. The campground itself is very clean and well maintained. There is minimal highway noise and I was able to sleep peacefully. There is a memorial rock work bridge near the boat ramp that is dedicated to the climbers who died in an avalanche on Mt. Cleveland in Glacier Park. I absolutely loved my stay here and l am looking forward to returning.
