Lake Ponca Park — Attraction in Ponca City

A pretty nice park for a picnic, the roads around it can be a little confusing but there's enough parking for up to about 20 cars as I saw, I also saw someone on a boat fishing in the lake it may be good for that as well. I personally went here for the disc golf course, had lots of big holes great for practicing your power, had a good mix of forehand and backhand with some fun OBs, this course also cam combine with the near by course Bois D' ark. The city of Ponca City has made a number of improvements to the area around the shelters, adding protected garbage cans, new climbing geodesic dome for the kids that has a soft rubber safety mat under it and other family friendly items. Dumb rules, no fun, no free docks that you can meet people at, too strict,no swimming at Sunset, no life guard... Barely ever cleaned, rocky mid beach...

Good for sun bathing on the beach and spending money on not worth it items.

And if the water is really really high, it's good for swimming. The playground is good, good for picnics, bathrooms that are surprisingly well taken care of, and a "shower"...
