A nice park and museum. The museum is free and has some interesting displays. However, I was slightly disappointed in their artifact display. The majority of the chipped stone arrowheads & knives seemed to be the cheap imported reproductions you can order off the internet. It made me question the authenticity of some of the other items. A nice clean facility ... and with it being free ... the reproductions are understandable I suppose. Grateful for all free activities and places to go.

Really great place to learn about our native tribes in the Midwest. I was present for the dedication of this park years ago, the listening posts and the plaquards are undergoing restoration, so they are no working or visible at present. But the stone obelisks can be easily read. Worth the trip to visit...try to go when the museum is open.

Enjoyed walking around the park and viewing the statue. Grew up in Oklahoma and was NEVER taught about Chief Standing Bear. Walked thru the museum and viewed the "gift shop", but was disappointed there wasn't a better variety, most items were craft decorative items or books. Would have really liked to have seen a little better variety.
