Great place for family's, or individuals. I love going to the park to walk at least once a week. While walking in the park I discovered folks playing disc golf and thought that it looked fun. I have some physical limitations and it is hard to find things that I can do that other people would enjoy as well. My husband and I ,now both love to go to the park and play disc golf there as well. It's great because it's inexpensive, you play at your own pace and level. There's no need to buy fancy equipment if you don't want to. All you need is a frisbee from the dollar store to start with. This has happened on other holidays as well. I tried to make my complaints on “parks.chathamcounty.org” and had no luck on asking why the restroom was closed and why has the new restroom on the other side of the lake never been open since being built? It is now Juneteenth and the Mens room is no better. The new restrooms are unmarked and still locked and the road was replaced. And they are adding a Dog Park! Where are...
