If you’re looking for a cozy, intimate wedding venue with fall vibes, Hidden Brook may be the one for you. Here’s why:

When we toured Hidden Brook, the managers Angel & Dan put us at ease & we knew that they were going to be the best people to work with among all the other venues we toured. Hidden Brook was also the only venue that pitched to both my husband & me, not just me as the bride.

Throughout the planning process, Angel & Dan were extremely communicative & helpful with addressing any concerns that came up. These included catering, furniture rental, sound, weather, evolving guest needs, etc.

In the weeks leading up to our wedding, they put their best foot forward. The floors were re-polished & the gazebo where the ceremony would take place was power-washed. They also worked with us to come up with contingency plans, as we had an evolving situation.

On the wedding day itself, the Hidden Brook team (owner Eric, managers Angel & Dan, & another team member Nora) were helpful with problem-solving various issues with setup. We were able to do a mixed indoor/outdoor reception, with our guests enjoying a beautiful sunset over the fields next door. They were also proactive with teardown, taking care of the outdoor teardown while we were inside during the reception, so the teardown for us & the bride & groom party took less than an hour at the end of the night.

All in all, we could not recommend Hidden Brook enough. On top of being a beautiful, homey venue, the venue staff were incredibly professional & easy to work with, which goes a long way when...

We loved this place like you have no idea, it was perfect and cozy for us, I was a member for a while but I was forced to cancel the subscription because some things changed for the worse. On one occasion we arrived at the place an hour and a half before closing time (according to the sign on the entrance door) but the gentleman still told us that it was almost closing and that was why the kitchen was no longer open either which surprised us. The worst was this Saturday when we visited again and we arrived exactly at 5:01 and we wanted something to eat and the gentleman told us that the kitchen had been closed a moment ago and that it was always closed an hour before last call. Considering the above last call is at 6:00 or before even when you are supposed to close at 7? It was so disappointing for us to drive for an hour and a half with the hope of eating and drinking something delicious and find that answer. Apart from that, the gentleman is not at all friendly like the other people who used to work there,...

Can't say enough great things! What started for my wife and I as a curiosity stop, turned into losing the day at this winery! The management team is a husband and wife who seem to genuinely care about the business and its customers. We decided to try the table side tasting where we sampled all their wines in a kind of guided tour. It was obvious they knew their wines as they described the various notes and what to expect. It was a very personalized experience and didn't feel rushed like so many other locations. They take their time with you. After, we sampled their seasonal hot wines which they called, "Charles Dickens in a glass" and they weren't wrong. It was also great to see that they are family and pet friendly. Several people brought in their dogs and one of the managers had treats ready! Its a small place with a ton of cozy atmosphere with various seating options both inside and out. We will absolutely return and likely...

Some of the best Virginia wine that I have tasted! We took a drive on this beautiful spring day and ended here (with a Groupon) at the end of a gravel road, only to have the place to ourselves! The red wines may be some of the best that we have tried throughout several stops in Virginia (and MD!) The reserve merlot and cab were noteworthy and not ridiculous at $28/30 a bottle. Picnic tables, good music and fire pits - as well as a game or two of corn hole - makes for a nice afternoon!

Love this winery! All the wines are super smooth and easy to drink. The woman in charge is an excellent describer of wines and explains everything in detail, which is amazing. They also have sangria slushies right now in apple and cranberry orange that were super tasty. During the winter time they also have mulled wine which was addicting when I had and kept going back for more. But would definitely recommend this winery for any type of occasion.

Quiet and peaceful winery tucked into the woods. Nice firepits and setting with birds and the breeze as the main sounds. Wine (so far) is ok but haven't tried everything, nothing special yet. No view but we like the peace in the woods with a farm and a house on either side if it. Interior is rustic and open, but we spent the entire time outside with the dogs. Picnic friendly. Staff is nice. Military discount. Good prices. Will come back.
