William & Lee Park — Attraction in Port Allen

Nice facility! We booked and had our family reunion there. Everything was great, I just wish that we would have booked the larger facility, as we had a large group. But there was working AC, the kitchen and prep area was spacious, and there was plenty of storage for our decorations and those behind the scenes items. The pool was open and there is plenty of space and land, should you choose to go outside in the heat.

The only downside for me is that patrons are unable to eat seafood, like shrimp or crawfish, in the building. You have to keep those food items outside.

The William and Lee Park has a recreation center that we rented for our family reunion. The facility was clean and comfortable for an event with up to 100 - 125 guests. The swimming pool was a welcomed addition to the activities for the weekend. There are restrictions that will limit our ability to rent this facility in the future. However, it's a great facility for many events. If you have family members who know how to swim, this is not the place for them. They do not allow swimming in the deep end of the pool.
