Really nice park. Except the county forgot it's a park and there needs to be at least out houses to use for the disabled. They probably just overlooked the State law. I would hope they fix that since now there is Eagle viewing there at a active nest. Kids and parents alike deserve to see that. It would also be nice to leave the parking open throughout the park year round except when closed at night. Esp in winter since they plow the whole park. It's clean, fishing and picknicks. Family fun...

What a beautiful location to take a hike or to simply hang out, or even better yet, take pictures. The abundance of different wild flowers and various different trees makes for a great location for family or personal photo sessions. Simply be aware of the people around you and make sure not to disturb anyone, as they are also enjoying the area and should not have to drastically change what they are...

This is a wonderful picnic area with LARGE covered spaces and clean bathrooms with running water. Large uncovered spaces are also available for sports, games, or laying out.

Ample parking and easy to get to. I think my favorite part was the outdoor fireplace with grill grates that allowed us to have a nice aromatic fire, but also grill out...

A great place to bike or walk! I especially love the little wooden walkway on the red trail. Good for gentle biking; there aren't extreme elevation gains unless you go up the larger hill with the nice view of the water. Keep going along the yellow trail and you'll exit near Riverwalk. I always see a ton of birds and animals when I visit!

Not a bad place to walk.. if you want a more nature walk, follow the red trail towards camp site area.. it is quieter and you may spot deers and birds there. The other path you will hear jet skis and boats. Overall this is a not too bad place to walk. More probably come for the marina and fishing.

I don't boat, but this place is awesome. Great trails and tons of flowers with bees and butterflies (in the summer). Some paths don't go in a circle, so be prepared to turn around. Several clean bathrooms on site.
