My husband and I absolutely love love this place! What a beautiful serene hidden gem it is. There is also a kid's play ground with very strong swings, what a treat! The best part about this park is that the sunsets are never the same and it's stunning to see Mother Nature and the sun in all their glory. We went once when the tide was super low and we walked out and took in the sun setting, what a calming experience. We went out to Durney Key from there at 6:45am and came into an area that had about 20-30 sleeping manatees. If figures we didnāt have our cameras rolling during that time because I woke them up on accident. I didnāt realize they were there scared me to death but was exhilarating. The entire trip out to Durney key was about 3 miles round trip. Beware of boats coming out of a boat launch...

Itās very beautiful. My kids enjoyed the little park area. I saw people fishing too. The restrooms were clean but the stalls lack doors š¬ thatās a big no no!
