Approximately 6.5 miles long and 4 miles wide, it is one of the largest lakes in the Upper Peninsula.

As a child I grew up on this lake My Grandparents owned a nice Resort here. I grew up here in 60s and 70s at Sonny side Resort. The fishing was always great in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Also people stayed here to hunt Deer and Bear.

Beautiful U.P. lake. Lots of family resorts located on this lake. Also you can rent Boats, jet skis, atv, side by side which can be found in the town of Curtis. Public boat launch can be found on the east side of the lake. All sorts of fish species can be found with an abundance of Pike...

Although beautiful, this is demonstrably NOT a good lake for fishing. 10 of us experienced fisherman fished morning, afternoon and evenings for a week. We caught about a dozen very small perch and a total of 5 walleyes. If you are into fishing,...
