Gourdneck Lake — Attraction in Portage

Gourdneck lake is a good for crappie,perch bluegill ,pike and bass. Was there today and got our limit of decent size crappie in 2 hrs. The only way to get on the lake is thru the little channel from Hogsett lake. To get on Hogsett you can pay 5 dollars and go into the County Prairie View park or go thru the state hunting area to the lake and put on for free not a real good landing. Hogsett has the same kinds of fish I even have caught pike there. I make my own inline spinnerbaits and use a jig with a slider or curly tail grub the crappie,blugill and bass just love them.
