Read moreAn enjoyable place to visit. This museum covers the history and science of the Blackwater Draw site and how its discovery literally rewrote the story of North America. It is one large gallery room that manages to cover a lot of very complicated information. The fee is small, so why not pay a few dollars and take in the exhibits. There were still some exhibits under constuction when i visited, but the bulk are well done and complete. One thing that stood out here is new research is featured in some of the text. But, they had apparently moved the museum fairly recently. Also, there were many exhibits under development. The, I believe, museum director whose office is there was enthusiastic to answer questions, and she was very knowledgeable and helpful.
