Historic Parsonsfield-Porter Covered Bridge — Attraction in Porter

This covered bridge was restored at a great cost certainly in 1999. Pedestrians can walk it safely, and it's very solid, well engineered. I'm certain it could actually hold motor vehicles without any problems. What's sad is the amount of graffiti the bridge has on the inside area. It's not art. It's not some form of expression. It's trashy. It has zero respect for those who donated time and money into saving a piece of New England history. This is a neat little historic structure.
