I fell in love with the venue just by looking at it online but once I reached out and saw it in person I was blown away. It's such a beautiful place and the people are amazing! From Anna, Amanda, and their latest addition Tiffani! They were available to answer our questions (we had plenty) and help us through anything during our planning process. We chose to use their catering for both rehearsal dinner and wedding and everyone greatly enjoyed the meals. Everyone was super kind, friendly, attentive, and helpful. Despite only having met Tiffani twice before the wedding, she was very supportive and seemed to genuinely want to be there to help us.
The day of the wedding, there were some slight hiccups but they managed to pull it together and execute the vision we had. One thing that took us by surprise was that despite having a complimentary open bar, guests would be charged for imported beer. During our initial meeting we were told the open bar would include bottom shelf liquor, beers, and seltzers. When asked what the beer selection would be we were told coors, michelobs, modelo, corona, lagunitas and white claws but there was no mention of additional charges for any of those items. I understand imported may be more expensive but it would have been good to know and inform our guests ahead of time rather than finding out during reception. There was a slight mixup with the cross not being setup at our ceremony location, which had been discussed multiple times prior and the day of, but they were able to get it done just before the ceremony started. (not a big deal to me but if you're a Type A bride keep in mind that things can happen.) Another thing that stuck with me was hearing the staff badmouth each other. I was waiting to be taken to the ceremony and they were bad-mouthing their peer which seemed a bit unprofessional. Later on, the staff took pictures in the photobooth, which we encouraged them to do, but only to see some were flipping off the camera. This wasn't a big deal for me but our guests had access to all of the pictures taken that night and it was brought to our attention.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone! Even on a warm summer day we were able to get a beautiful shaded location for the ceremony with a nice breeze. It was the...
Read moreOur daughter had a gorgeous wedding on Oct. 20 2018 Ceremony on the bridge, reception upstairs in a barn. If you have guests with walking aids you might want to let Debbie know as well as your guests that there is a lift available. I forgot to let a few of our guests know , some could not make the climb up stairs. That was MY fail, not the SR. We booked the Ranch almost 2 years in advance. We used their caterer (Teresa Fitton & Haskell Swearingen ) our Florist Designer the FAMOUS Daryl Walters Flower Mill. Everything was 100% Fantasic. I wish I could post photos ( Sonia Huckabay ) for you all to see. There wasn’t 1 hiccup or setback, Debbie Stengel ( Manager coordinator ) made sure everything ran very smoothly. Debbie is hands on. Debbie is the gal that will give you the answers you need in a timely manner. There is a restroom on the main floor of the barn. Across from the SR office. Guests do not need to go upstairs to use the restroom before the ceremony. ( they only get in the way) The downstairs suite ( bridal area ) is amazing. A lot of room. Pleasing to the eyes & very comfortable furniture. Bed, full kitchen & bathroom. There were about 10 of us in there and plenty of room to move about. Upstairs in the reception area is a huge industrial kitchen. I only took a quick look in there. Grooms room is upstairs along with 2 other private bedrooms. I can’t remeber if they all have their own private bathroom. The grooms room - bed, closet & private bathroom 1 public bathroom for all guests Nicely stocked bar. All the Businesses we used for our daughter’s wedding Were FUN and happy people to work with. Actually Debbie along with the new owners had no problem letting Daryl do his thing. He is VERY created if you just let him loose & let him come up with the design and stay out of his way. You will not be sorry. Most venues have A lot of restrictions. I felt the SR has very few ( none in my opinion ) The new owners are amazing too. I met 3 of them the day of our event. I hope I remembered their names. Hamlet, Zack & Rick Fun guys, hard workers to boot. I want to go back and party with them every weekend. You’ll find the NEW owners at the Ranch almost every weeken working hard on improvements. I highly recommend this venue . I wish I could give this a...
Read moreThis is a very long over-due post, but I just want to say if anyone is on the fence about using this venue - please use it! My wedding was in May 11, 2024, and it was the most beautiful day. We got countless compliments on the staff being friendly, knowing how to direct people, and they were A++++ in helping me along the way to the big day.
I called countless times (sorry) with repeat questions, and the front desk office ladies were always super helpful. They worked with our schedule, our vendors, and our wedding planner. Even after the event they were super helpful with things being forgotten, giving the party some grace with leaving, and organized all of our things. If I could get married every year at this venue, I would!
The scenery alone speaks for itself. The gorgeous backdrop of the mountains, the pond, the river. Absolutely breathtaking! So many of my family members from different parts of the state couldn’t stop complimenting the wedding on how beautiful the venue is. So thank you everyone at Springville Ranch, you made my husband and I wedding an absolute fairytale dream come...
