Leif Erikson Germantown Trail Head — Attraction in Portland

This is my local trailhead I usually come once to three times a week to hike. It’s lovely. In 2020 I had my back windshield smashed and my purse stolen (it was covered). Today July 2, 2022 between 615 PM and 745 PM, I had my catalytic converter stolen. People are a-holes and this city is wasting my tax dollars and promoting vagrancy with it’s clueless dystopian policies. I feel very sad and violated. This shouldn’t dissuade you from visiting this trail, but since all lots have broken glass constantly, if anyone has ideas, I’m all ears. Like can we get surveillance cameras put in? It's incredibly beautiful. If you've been stuck in the city for too long and you need a micro getaway, you've got it right here in Forest Park. located super close to the city, actually in the city. Listen to The Birds and the Wind Through the Trees. Smell the air put down your phone. Talk to your friend or make a friend. I guess the only downside would be that sometimes it's extremely populated in there. Forest park is beautiful so many trails beautiful big trees 🌲young and old, the air is fresh out here, I am so blessed to live in a place like this, just minutes from Portland.
