Soleil Medical & Beauty SPA — Attraction in Portland

Soleil Medical Spa is an absolute gem of a place. As a newly postpartum Mama, I wanted to treat myself to some spa self-care. A girlfriend had told me about Soleil and their amazing specials - so I gave them a call.

I made an appt to have my eyebrows and lip waxed - and I ended up getting to see Sohelia (the owner!) There is a reason they call her the eyebrow queen - I have never loved my eyebrows more after seeing her. Not only is she super skilled at eyebrows, she is an incredibly kind human and made me so relaxed and taken care of.

We chatted about how I’d like to do something to refresh my skin postpartum, and she shared the amazing special they had at the time for 3 Soleil Signature Facials + 3 Laser Genesis. I bought the package and got my first facial/genesis on the books.

You guys - this facial was AMAZING! Like, the best one I’ve ever had. She did extractions for my milia (that no one else could get out) and I really enjoyed the laser treatment. My skin looked so smooth and refreshed, even right afterwards!

They also helped set me up with a skincare routine/products to help keep my skin healthy and glowing: Zo Skin Health line. WOW it has really changed my skin, and quickly too. My fine lines are smoother, everything is lifted… and I’ve only had one facial/laser. The product has really helped me maintain that post-facial glow and tightness. LOVE!

This is a long review, but all this to say: these folks are incredible, kind, and really care about their clients. I’m so glad I found Soleil Medical Spa and I will continue to go here (and tell all my friends to come here for all their skincare needs, too!)

Ps. It’s a family business - they have been in Multnomah Village for 30 years!! Sohelia’s son runs operations and they are so kind in every single interaction/so organized, clear, and warm in their communication. It really makes a difference (from someone who works with customers all the time).

I've been coming to Soleil Med Spa for over seven years and that's the only place I go to receive any beauty services. As a person of color, it's very challenging to find a place whose aestheticians know about our skin type and Soleil Med Spa is the only place I've found who have expertise treating all skin types regardless of ethnicity. I've trusted my face to them for many years and now at the age of 50, I get compliments of how flawless my skin looks. Another great thing about Soleil is that they care about their clients and do what's in their best interest. If a product or procedure is not right for them, they will let you know and the reasons why and leave it up to you to make the ultimate decision. However, they will not do anything that will put you and your skin and/or body at a health risk. Because I trust them with everything beauty, when my daughter was of age to receive facials, Soleil is the place I took her, and she's been seeing Sarah F now for at least two years. I struggle to even give this place one star. It was my first time that I went for microneedling and was given no pre-instructions. I had to research everything on my own and only when I was sitting in the chair about to get treated they asked me if I had used certain cleansers or been sunburned. Fortunately, I had researched this prior to coming and was able to proceed. As I was leaving after the treatment (feeling in pain and distracted) was I given a brief and limited verbal instructions on post treatment. Unfortunately, I had an awful reaction and I missed 4 days of work. When I called to ask what to do they were helpful and responsive, but blamed it on my cleanser, which I had no recollection of them telling me not to use (there was no retinol in it and it was a cleanser that was supposed to be irritant free).
