Called before we went and asked if they had #2 golden delicious apples was gonna make apple butter. They said had plenty come on down. Went and the kids said they didn't have 10 bushel, but they called Paul and he had them sell us some in the back in bushel bags. We loaded them not paying attention to the size. Long story short we got ALOT of small apples in the bags. I know they weren't #1 they were #2, but you shouldn't be able to fit 5 apples in your hand. I messaged them on FB and Paul did call me back (that's why I gave 2 stars and not one) basically saying they were the correct size. I sure am missing Richard Brothers. We will definitely be taking our...
Read moreI had the honor of visiting Fuhrmann orchards. This orchard is beautiful. All the love and knowledge that have been poured into this land is unmeasurable in its half-century plus of being. It's family-owned and operated. To hear the owners speak of it, it in itself is family. The attention to detail that goes into the finished product you can purchase is impeccable. They care about the products they put out as if they are going on their family table. That's because I'd imagine they are (lol) I felt like family while I was there. Definitely recommend visiting this gem if you are anywhere nearby or want to get out of the city for a...

The guy did apologize saying he'd had to turn a lot of people away (so they knew this was an issue and chose not to fix it)and then tried to get me to buy tickets to the sunflower fields. There a dime a dozen back home as are farmer style markets where we live. Wasted...
