I can't believe I've never been to this park! One of the most beautiful, peaceful and serene parks I've encountered. Beautiful views of the river everywhere and plenty of benches and picnic tables, covered and uncovered all over! Many trails to hike to choose from. Baseball field, volleyball court, bathrooms and many picnic sites with fire pits! Also, this is a golf Frisbee Park and I believe there are 19 holes. Dog friendly(clean up after your pet please) and a huge grassed area to play fetch! I came in on a Thursday and it was about empty and the quietness is the best! ❤️ There were at least 2, besides the main bathroom, porta potties throughout this park. Plenty of parking from what I saw. No playground though. No kids toys but I did see some playing Frisbee golf with their parents. Also, the picnic tables are moveable so you can move them in or out of the sun or into one of the many covered spots. If you haven't been to Corbin Park, I recommend checking it out, you won't be disappointed! ❤️
Free parking and I saw at least one...
Read moreCorban Park is an amazing place to come to for the scenery; it's breath taking to see how powerful the river is this time of year. There is lots to do here, great place to bring the family for a day of fun. There are tables and barba- ques, places to swim or just lay out by the rivers edge and soak up some sun. Place to play some softball or even frizzbie golf. If a nice hike is what your after, Corban Park has some nice trails too. There"s some really nice spots to throw in a line if you enjoy fishing, I've pulled in some really nice fish there; over by the big rocks at the far end of the park. Any ways, next time your in the mood for a great day at a park; go check out Corbin Park. Promise, your going...
Read moreGood place to take the kids to swim. Not quite as packed as other spots along the river. There is a restroom here. There is also a nice disc golf course here as well. It's a popular spot to start a river float from. We floated from here till the bridges at the Stateline. It's about a 3 hour float. I would recommend taking some paddles to assist with navigating the 4 brief patches of rapids. Watch out for rocks when going through the rapids, it doesn't feel good when you catch a Boulder in the bum or lower back!
Be wary of the rocks along the shore to the right of the main swimming area. They are extremely slick... I broke my hand as a result of...
