The Emerson — Attraction in Post Oak Bend City

The Emerson is the most beautiful and unique wedding venue in all of DFW. My husband and I were supposed to get married in Santa Barbara on October 3, 2020, but COVID had different plans for us. We originally moved our wedding date by a year at the same venue in CA, but decided in February 2021 to pull the plug on that wedding plan and re-plan a smaller wedding in Texas, where we now live.

As soon as we found The Emerson, we were actually excited to change plans because we loved it so much more than our original venue. It's just stunning. The little white chapel is what wedding dreams are made of.

We finally got married on September 26, 2021 and everything was magical. Everyone raved about how gorgeous the venue was and it was perfect for our small wedding of 45 guests (but could totally accommodate weddings bigger than ours). The girls who work at The Emerson were also SUCH a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They even let my sister-in-law put my 1 year old nephew down for a nap in the office upstairs after dinner was served, allowing my brother and his wife to have a night of dancing rather than having to leave the wedding early - truly above and beyond. I dreamed of getting married at The Emerson back when they first started posting pictures from the remodel in 2018. FAST FORWARD, those dreams came true on October 11th, 2020, while enduring THE CRAZIEST YEAR OF ALL OF OUR LIVES. Lindsey + Natalie are amazing owners of not only the venue but the rental company as well, they pay great attention to detail and are very responsive and informative. We went with the BOLD package and I think that suited us very well from venue, rentals, security, cleaning, etc. They even allowed us to do fireworks as a first there, it was so neat. When I went in to pick out all of my rentals, Kelsie and I instantly clicked and we both knew she HAD to be there on October 11th. These girls are all so special to both Collin and I and we couldn't have asked for anything more. They are all so sweet, genuine and servant- hearted.
